Quick Installation - Windows

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 (64-bit) or Windows 11
  • Architecture: x86_64
  • RAM: 4GB minimum (8GB recommended)
  • Disk: 500MB free space

Step 1: Download

Download the Windows installer from the link above.

Step 2: Run Installer

Double-click Qromium_Setup_1.0.0.exe to launch the installer.

Note: You may see a Windows SmartScreen warning. Click "More info" then "Run anyway" to proceed.

Step 3: Launch Qromium

After installation, find "Qromium" in your Start menu or desktop shortcut.

Step 4: Test PQC Functionality

Visit our PQC demo site to verify quantum-safe connections:

You should see a green padlock with successful ML-DSA certificate validation!

Step 1: Download

Download the Debian package from the link above, or use wget:

wget https://pqcnow.com/downloads/qromium_1.0.0_amd64.deb

Step 2: Verify Checksum (Optional but Recommended)

Download and verify the SHA256 checksum:

wget https://pqcnow.com/downloads/qromium_1.0.0_amd64.deb.sha256 sha256sum -c qromium_1.0.0_amd64.deb.sha256

Step 3: Install

Install the package using apt:

sudo apt install ./qromium_1.0.0_amd64.deb

Step 4: Launch Qromium

Start Qromium from the command line:

qromium --no-sandbox

Or find "Qromium" in your applications menu.

Step 5: Test PQC Functionality

Visit our PQC demo site to verify quantum-safe connections:

qromium --no-sandbox https://demo.pqcnow.com:9443/

You should see a green padlock with successful ML-DSA certificate validation!
